My goal is to write books worthy of a book club discussion, while still being light and fun enough to take with you on vacation. I love writing about female friendships and healthy romantic relationships. I’m also an IVF and endometriosis warrior, so you’ll see those themes show up a lot, too. If you love authors like Taylor Jenkins Reid, Emily Giffin, Sophie Kinsella, Curtis Sittenfeld, and Elin Hilderbrand, I hope you’ll give my books a try.

In addition to my fiction writing, I’ve also been a journalist since 2010. I’ve written for publications like Shape, Health, Southern Living, Parents, Charlotte Magazine, Axios, and more. I’m a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. If you’re interested in that side of my writing experience, check out the Journalism tab.

When I’m not writing, I’m reading. To me, there’s no better compliment than when someone loves a book you recommended to them. I jokingly call myself an indoor cat, so I love napping under a cozy blanket or grabbing a coffee or a cocktail with a friend. Speaking of cats, my husband, Brad, and I have two of them, Freddie Purrinze Jr. and Otto. I was decidedly not a cat lady before we adopted them, but they’re completely purrrrfect.
